Very cool! Fireworks are one thing I haven't tried to shoot yet but only because I haven't had the opportunity so far.

Thanks. It is not as hard as it seems. You will need a camera that you can do manual focus on and have a "bulb" setting for the shutters speed, and a tripod. If you search the web for photographing fireworks there are several sites out there that give more detail. I would say give it a try this July 4th.
